24/2/21 - Instructed some students how to do Fizzing rainbow, and for the fist time I was able to make a rainbow

Fizzing rainbow is an Acid and bases experiment. The aim of the experiment is to  get a full rainbow from red to purple.

2021 - Luma - Hot Stuff 

So I have finally decided to write on this page. This year I got the opportunity to do "busking" at Luma. Where we Science Busker will be doing our(their) original roadshow called Hot Stuff. I hope that on the 5th and 6th of June it won't be raining, windy, and is a great day. Since I'm a senior this year, I got to chose which experiment I would be in charge of, so I chose Flaming colours.  Also as a senior, we needed to learn all the experiments just in case the person in charge of the experiment isn't there.

The first day of the roadshow was pouring with rain. 

recommendation for next time - add more in the 15minute block. There was a lot of time left before the next show. We could al probable keep going with the shows have a shorter break to set up

Term 3 - 2021

Welcome to term 3.  after doing the luma hot stuff,  I was tasked to find a replacement for Elipahnst toothpaste. This was because during the roadshow elephant's toothpaste didn't really "light" up, meaning be you couldn’t see it in the dark. - With the help of my sister who saw a YouTube video about glowing elephant toothpaste, I was able to usefully make glow-in-the-dark elephant toothpaste. 

27/7/21 - We made a blue flame on accident. We then proceeded to name is Paddys's ashes. The ashes were made up of magnesium power, copper chloride, wood pencil shaving with a bit of lead, and methylated spirits
