Today In class we made Elephants Toothpaste. It was so fun to be able to perform this experiment after spending endless hours on youtube watching Mark Rober and other inspiring people to do this amazing experiment. Below are some super cool videos of elephants toothpaste and even some of our own images.
How to do this experiment:
Put dish soap in a measuring cylinder - about half a centimeter.
Then put a drop of food colouring (optional)
Next put in a small amount of Potassium Iodide (catalyst).
Now put Hydrogen Peroxide into the mix and watch it fly.
Have Fun & Be Safe
Remember, Don't touch it for a while because it will burn your skin. If this does happen put your hand under cold water.

Today Alice and Ruby demonstrated Little and Big Bertey. They placed methylated spirts in a big water can and then dropped a match in the bottle. The flames inside the bottle had nowhere to go except out, causing a massive flame 🔥to shoot out the top. SICK!!! Below are some of the videos of the demo.
