Today, I experimented with bacteria from the river by looking at them under a microscope. It was interesting to see the tiny organisms up close!
I also tried setting my hand on fire safely using bubbles filled with gas. It was exciting but definitely something that needs to be done carefully.
Another experiment I did was burning cotton with different colors by using lithium chloride and another chemical that made a blue flame. The colors were really cool to see.
I watched the process of making elephant toothpaste, which involved a foamy reaction that expanded quickly. It looked really fun.
Lastly, I made a teabag float by lighting it on fire. As it burned, the ash became light enough to rise into the air. It was a great way to see how heat and air movement work together.
