Fire Retardant
It worked perfectly and survived the Bunsen Burner.
Ingredients
Water=126ml
Boric Acid=3.78g
Borax Powder=7.5g
A Testing Fabric (I would recommend cotton balls. I would also recommend you have a control.)
Method
1.Combine all of them in a 200ml Beaker (I would recommend hot water because it takes a long time to dissolve in cold water).
2. Use an evaporating dish to sink the object that you would like to test in.
3. Take it out then let it dry for a while or until you decide it is ready to be used.
4. Then test it on a heatproof mat.

Observations: The borax bud feared better. The alum created aluminum oxide and it melted to coat the outside and stop the heat.
