🌱 French Beans with Pine Nuts (Pignoli)
Green beans, love it or hate it? Either way, this recipe is a must-try! Crunchy snappy beans coated in a beautiful and crunchy cheesy topping. Looks like the perfect side for your holiday spread.
🥦 Ingredients:
8 oz green beans, rinsed & trimmed
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1/8 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp Panko bread crumbs
1 tbsp shredded vegan Parm
2 tbsp pine nuts (Pignoli)
1 tbsp chopped cilantro
Add the beans to a bowl. Add the garlic powder, salt, oregano, red and black pepper, and oil. Toss with your hands to coat well.
Add the beans to the air fryer basket and air fry at 375°F for 7-9 minutes. Shake the pan halfway through.
While the beans are cooking, toast the pine nuts and the bread crumbs in a small pan until golden. Immediately remove them from the pan once they are toasted.
When the beans are done, plate them. Top with the Parm, breadcrumbs, pine nuts, and cilantro. Enjoy!
