Middle couples dance out to the ends

3-4 End couples set advancing to partner and pull back right shoulders 

Middle couples cast off to make lines of 4 across facing in or out

5-8 Dance half reels of 4 across

9-10 Turn the person you are facing RH all the way, finishing in a saltire

11-12 1s and 4s dance half a LH star, 2s and 3s chase one place clockwise

13-16 Repeat from new positions

17-24 Interlocking diagonal reels of 4

25-28 Birl with the person you are facing. Finish in lines facing across, men on left

29-32 Lines advance and retire
