Backstage Behavior

Back-stage behavior is “unplanned, private actions that are not normally expected to be observed by anyone by the individual’s intimates” (p. 10). This type of behavior is more like the difference between a police officer and family and a police officer and other officers. This differs from front-stage behavior.
