Ambient Findability

According to Peter Morville in Ambient Findability, ambient is "a. Surrounding and encircling; e.g., ambient sound. b. completely enveloping" (p. 6).

Findability is "a. the quality of being locatable or navigable. b. The degree to which a particular object is easy to discover or locate. c. The degree to which a system or environment supports navigation and retrieval" (2005, p. 4).

Together, ambient findability concerns finding anything at any time.
