DISCUSSION
Children develop critical thinking skills at an early stage of their life. It
begins when the child admits that he or she does not have the answer to a
question and begins working to find a solution.
This is also the moment when the child assesses and evaluates some problems and principles and learns from his or her mistakes. He or she questions everything, using his or her thinking skills to search for the truth. When children try to improve their
abilities through practice, different techniques and values are learned.
Parents and teachers play a major role in developing children’s
thinking skills by asking them the right questions about the lessons learned in
school. They can ask questions from a new book that was read, an
announcement or an article that was discussed.
