Notice
After you participated or assisted in the LMS, describe what you observed and experienced by answering the items below.
1. Describe the structure of the LMS utilized by the teacher. How was it organized? What main components did you find?
The LMS used by the teacher is google classroom. The google classroom has 3 main components, the stream, classwork, and the people. These main components have their function. Each component was organized accordingly.
2. How was the content taught or delivered? How were the learning activities arranged? What strategies did the teacher or you use to help students attain the objectives/outcomes?
Each content posted by the teacher on the google classroom components was well-arranged and comprehensive. The learning activities have their deadline to be accomplished by the students. To help the students to engage in the tasks, there were group activities and individual performances like showcasing their talent.
3. What was your experience in participating and assisting?
I was amazed at how the teacher did all the strategies to make her class engaging. Facing the new normal teaching is a new challenge for the teacher but they are so amazing because teachers are flexible and adaptable in any kind of situation.
Analyze
1. What do you think are the best features of the LMS that the teacher used? How did these features help the students learn the content?
The meeting rooms, module container, announcements, discussion boards, and assignments/quizzes are the best features of the LMS that the teacher used. These best features help both students and the teacher. For example in announcements, the students will receive a notification immediately about the announcement and it will help them to be aware and to know what to do next. The discussion boards contain a well-organized lesson prepared by the teacher and with the help of the meeting rooms, the teacher and the students can interact with each other to ask questions or clarifications regarding the lesson.
2. How did the teacher/or you use the LMS to implement the strategies/activities planned?
Managing a class on an online platform is difficult but the teacher is flexible and resourceful. The teacher used videos on youtube that are related to the lesson to give more emphasis or to help the students to understand the lesson. The videos help a lot to the students especially the visual learners and through these, the students were able to complete their tasks.
3. How did this connect with what you know about LMS and TPACK?
This is connected to LMS and TPACK in a way of integrating the use of technology in the class or in the teaching process. Through applying the use of technology in the class will help the teacher to level up her strategies and knowledge. Incorporating the growing demand on the use of technology in the classroom as well as continuing the focus on the content and how the teacher teaches it.
4. What problem or challenges did the teacher/ you or the students encounter in working with the LMS? How did it/ they affect the teacher/learners? What part/s of the LMS do you think can still be improved? How can this/these be improved?
The technical problem is always present in using technology and we cannot avoid it, therefore, we need an alternative- adjustment. Because of this problem, the teacher and the students had difficulty. Sometimes they cannot hear properly due to the poor internet connection. There were instances also that the students received the task late because of the low connection. This problem can be improved by giving enough time (deadline) to the students' tasks and announcing the said meeting 3 or 2 days before the scheduled time so that the students can prepare and find a strong internet connection.
Reflect
1. How ready are you in organizing and using the LMS?
I am 65% ready in organizing and using the LMS because I have many things that I have to improve such as creativity and organizing skills. Creativity in using the LMS is necessary to capture the students' interest and help them to engage in the class. A well-organized class runs smoothly so I have to improve this skill.
2. Enumerate the knowledge, skills, and attitudes you already have to organize your virtual learning environment and use an LMS:

Pedagogical:
Technological:
3. What do you still need to learn in order to use the LMS effectively?
Write Action Research Prompts
OBSERVE
1. What problematic situation/challenges/area of improvement did you see while you participated and assisted using an LMS?
Not all teachers were flexible enough to adapt to this new challenge in teaching. The lack of integration and inflexible reporting capabilities are the problematic situations of improvement I'd see while participating in using an LMS. Because of this new normal way of teaching the teachers had to adapt this but still, it needs time.
On what theory/principles can this problem be anchored?
This problem can be anchored in the principles of exploring and adapting to new ideas and nurturing their aspirations, confidence, curiosity, imagination, self-respect, and responsibility to others.
REFLECT
What do I hope to address the problem/challenge/area of improvement in LMS use?
I am hoping that teachers manage to adapt to this new challenge in teaching.
What change do you want to achieve?
Change the old ways of teaching, integrating the use of technology in teaching-learning.
PLAN
2. What strategies/solutions/means can you employ to improve the situation/solve the problem?
Encouraging and motivating the teachers can help them to adapt to this new challenge in teaching.
ACT
3. If you will conduct an action research, what will be the title (Base this on your answers in no.1-3):
The title would be " Integrating Positive Behavior in Online learning Modality".
