Based on my observation in Activity 2, I would say that the teacher that I observed is strong. He is indeed a professional teacher. I would say so because he really demonstrated the qualities of a professional teacher. These are the qualities that he have, he practice the code of ethics very well, teaches the subject matter very well with mastery, keeps self updated with educational trends, policies and curricular, teaches with compassion based on the knowledge and understanding of learners diversity, serves willingly beyond teaching work by participating in other extra curricular activities when needed and utilizes appropriate assessment strategies and tools for lessons taught.

2. Did your answers to the survey form coincide with the answers of the co-teacher or head of the teacher you observed? Why?

My answers to the survey form coincide with the answers of the co-teacher of the teacher that I observed. This could be because we both know the teacher that I chose to observe. Aside from this fact, the teacher that we made a survey of it is very much transparent, and so, it is not that hard to observe him. We both have been seeing him do his duty as licensed professional teacher.

We as future teachers need to motivate students with learning, exploring, investigating, discovering and inquiring. Together you will be learning and teaching. As teachers, you need to be very organized and creative. When students are able to use creativity it enhances them and helps them in their learning process.

The learners will be more engaged to the academic activities or other extra curricular activities, they show interest to the topic/lesson and the learners also improve to their respective aspect.

My Teacher, My Hero

He is Salemneil Letegio Derit, 36 years old. Born on December 17, 1984 at Tukuran Zamboanga Del Sur. He graduated at Mindanao State University in Gensan took up the Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Math. As what I observe he practice the code of ethics very well, teaches the subject matter very well with mastery, keeps self updated with educational trends, policies and curricular, teaches with compassion based on the knowledge and understanding of learners diversity, serves willingly beyond teaching work by participating in other extra curricular activities when needed and utilizes appropriate assessment strategies and tools for lessons taught. Besides that he is strong communicator, show empathy, have patience and share best practices that’s why I inspired him a lot.
