REFLECT
How can MOOC help you in your future career as a professional teacher as a lifelong learner?
MOOC has many courses so taking each course that you want helps you to be a lifelong learner as a professional teacher in the future.
2. What did you learn from the way the providers use technology to teach in the MOOCs? I learned that being well versed in ICT helps you to learn more and be effective as a future teacher.
3. How will you prepare yourself for MOOCS, as a learner, and as a teacher who may someday teach a MOOC?
One of my preparations as a learner and a teacher is to arrange my lectures and teaching style to accommodate students who are not in the classroom and may not be observing me in real-time. For example, rather than blackboards or whiteboards, carefully created slides and other visual aids; assignments, and tests that may be completed without a lot of help from lab assistants (though email is frequently used); without needing considerable in-class interaction, and so on. It's similar to how television and movies must capture your attention.
