Analyze the different elements of personal/physical classroom management and answer the following questions?

1. How does the voice of the teacher after classroom instruction?

It is very important because the students will depend on the voice pitch that you are executing, students don’t want teachers with low pitch voices, and they don’t want to hear also a teacher with a high pitch of voice. Definitely, as a teacher, you should know to control the pitch of your voice for you to get the attention of the students to listen on your discussion. Voice is the fundamental aspect needed in the teaching field.

2. How does the punctuality of the teacher affect classroom discipline?

As a role model of course, the students will always observe and look at you and definitely you should expect that in the very first place. If the teacher does not show punctuality it will also affect the punctuality of his/her students because they seen it from their own teacher and they will absolutely look into that and copy that.

3. Why do we need to check on the physical aspects of classroom management?

Other says, “A good environment attracts positive energy.” Therefore, to say that physical aspect of the classroom should always be organized and neat as is it. Because it will enable the students to listen and participate actively if their learning environment is clean and physically in good condition. It will encourage also the students to interact and build more understanding in learning process.

1. What does this statement mean to you as a future teacher? Explain.

“ No amount of good instruction will come out without effective classroom management.”

In order for instruction to produce positive outcomes or results, classroom management is required. As a future teacher, It is my obligation to implement classroom management to keep my students organized, orderly, to keep them focus and attentive in class and for them also to become productive. If there is no management inside the classroom or whatever place we are into, it would be problematic and will make us feel that we are in a negative environment to learn that will decrease our productivity especially in classroom. If we feel that everything is well organized and managed, our mind is also at its good state to learn and it will help us also to absorb easily the lessons that are being discussed by the teacher. This includes also the way I dress and communicate with my students. It is important for me to look good and approachable to my students. In that way I can be an example to them so that they will do the same also. And for my classroom, I will make sure that they will feel it is a place for fun learning and they will be comfortable. That's how important classroom management is. Not only for students but for teachers too.

2. What are your plans in ensuring effective classroom management?

My plans in ensuring effective classroom management are the following; First, I will make sure to establish classroom guidelines. For them to know what follow and avoid, their boundaries/limits and also what will be the consequences of their actions if there is a need for corrective action. But, I will not make it a habit for students to be punished. It will make them feel that they are in a negative environment. It will decrease their productivity and self-esteem. Acknowledging their success by giving praise or rewards will boost their confidence and productivity. I will take time to celebrate with them so that they will feel that I am here as their teacher but at the same time as a friend too. In that way, they will feel more comfortable but I will set limitations so that their focus is still there. Putting yourself in the shoe of your students will help you understand what they are going through and what's the reason of their actions. In that way, you engage yourself with your students not only inside the classroom but also in their personal life. By that, you will know how to interact and communicate with each of your students. These are my plans in ensuring effective classroom management.
