ANALYZE
Which of the seven types curriculum in the school setting is easy to find? Why?
Assessed Curriculum: Is reflected by the assessment or evaluation of the learners. It includes both formative and summative evaluation of learners conducted by teachers, schools, or external organizations. It involves all the tests (teacher- made, district or standardized) in all formats (such as portfolio, performance, production, demonstration, etc.).
Student assessment is an important aspect of curriculum evaluation which helps to facilitate the understanding of the impact and outcome of education programs. A fundamental measure of the success of any curriculum is the quality of student learning.
Knowing the extent to which students have achieved the outcomes specified in the curriculum is fundamental to both improving teaching and evaluating the curriculum.
Which is difficult to observe? Why?
Hidden Curriculum: Hidden curriculum is one of current controversial curriculum issues (difficult to observe). Many hidden curricular issues are the result of assumptions and expectations that are not formally communicated, established, or conveyed within the learning environment. Thus, awareness of hidden curricular issues becomes a consideration, which has negative and positive influences.
Hidden curriculum refers to the unspoken or implicit values, behaviors, and norms that exist in the educational setting. So, it is a significant matter to define the hidden curriculum. It is hard and impossible to observe what is the hidden of curriculum, so it is necessary to conclude or infer the characters of the hidden curriculum.
Hidden curriculum is an issue that is controversial issue today because it negatively and positively influences the students without awareness from teachers.
Are these all found in the school setting? How do curricula relate to one another?
Yes, Curriculum is what is taught in schools, instruction is how curriculum is delivered and learning is what knowledge or skill has been acquired (Wiles et al., 2002). Furthermore, curriculum is the content of what is being taught and instruction is the implementation of teaching according academic curriculum.
The purpose of having a curriculum is to provide teachers with an outline for what should be taught in classrooms. Curriculum sequences the outcomes so they build on each other. It is discipline based and so do they are linked to each other.

REFLECT
Make a reflection on the diagram that you have drawn.
All curricula are my favorite; they are all important. Curriculum is a framework that sets expectations for student learning. It serves as a guide for teachers, a roadmap if you will, that establishes standards for student performance and teacher accountability. Curriculum is a group of courses offered in a particular field of study.
An effective curriculum provides teachers, students, with a measurable plan and structure for delivering a quality education. All curriculums share one goal: to help students learn. No matter what country or district your school is in, student outcomes start with a solid plan.
No matter different educational program all are important. Most importantly, curricula gives student learning and a teacher who will guide to have a better flow of the curriculum he/she used.
