John 14:6
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and How We Should Live our Lives
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Romans 1:16-17
Paul Preaches and Lives the Gospel
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. 17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
St. Paul did a great job of not only preaching the gospel but also living the gospel...He was always so eager to preach the gospel to anyone and everyone who would listen...He was not not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew, then to the Gentile... For the gospel reveals the righteousness of God that comes by faith from start to finish, just as it is written: The righteous will live by faith...
And that is the Way St. Paul lived, he listened to his preaching and to Jesus and lived out daily the gospel of Jesus...The faith St. Paul talks about is in the Father and Son...And it is him following the example Jesus gave us in His ministry on earth...
When Jesus told us He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, I believe a part of that is that He wants us to believe in Him and live in His Truth and live life His Way and that is living the gospel as best we can...It is not easy to each day to live the gospel...But it is best if the gospel is lived out in one's life, rather just listening and reading about it...The Word we study has to be the Word we live...The gospel is to be told to everyone and we can pray that they not only listen to it, but believe it and live it...And when we do this we are living the Way, the Truth, and our Lives as they should be...
One of the single most nonbelief on the non-believer is that the believer reads the Word of God, and listens to those who believe, yet we deny Jesus' Teachings when we get with others...If we could live the gospel in our own lives many non-believers would see not only that we have listened to Jesus, but followed His Path in our Lives and Ways and follow His Truths, and then they would pay much more attention to the gospel and to Him...
