John 14:6-7
Jesus is Truth
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
Jesus stood up one day and said that He is Truth...He is full of Grace and Truth...Jesus is the Way of Truth, because He spoke God's Word...We are closer to Jesus and His Father when believe in things that are the Truth and follow the Truth, that are in the knowledge of His Teachings and Truths...He came to earth to testify to the Truth...And He teaches us that God's Word is Truth...He teaches us that God's Word is Truth...He tells us that we are His disciples if we listen to Him and follow the Truth, and the Truth will set us free...The Bible has several verses about Truth...So as we read the Bible and the verses about Truth, we recognize the importance of Truth in our lives...The Truth shows us the Goodness of God...Very early in the Bible we learn about Truth, because His Word is Truth...In God's oath that He made to Abraham, we find Truth...It is impossible for God to lie...He is the Truth that is unchanging...God is the same yesterday in the Biblical Times, He is the same today, and the same in the Future...Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever...God is the Glory of Israel and the Glory of Gentiles, He does not lie or change his mind, for He is not a human being, that He should change His mind...
We are to believe in things that are the Truth...And when we think about it, why would we believe in anything but the things that are True...We are not to lie to our neighbors or anyone...Truthful lips will endure forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment...Believing in lies and speaking lies is our downfall...When we speak we are to speak the Truth, because we are told a false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will perish...A faithful witness does not lie, but a false witness breathes out lies...If we say we have no sin, then we are deceiving ourselves, and the Truth is not in us...We shall not lie or bear false witness against our neighbors...Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the Image of God...God is our hope...God is our hope of eternal life, which He, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time...
Some of Scripture about Truth are the following: If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us...Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth...We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us...This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood...The sum of Your Word is truth, and every one of Your righteous rules endures forever...Then the woman said to Elijah, “Now I know that you are a man of God and that the word of the LORD from your mouth is the Truth.”...Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the Word of Truth...Stand firm then, with the Belt of Truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place...You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor...He chose to give us birth through the Word of Truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created...The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us...We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of Grace and Truth...For the law was given through Moses; Grace and Truth came through Jesus Christ...God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in Truth...Then you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free...Jesus answered, "I AM the Way and the Truth and the Life... No one comes to the Father except through Me."...But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the Truth. He will not speak on His Own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come...Sanctify them by the Truth; Your Word is Truth...The LORD detests lying lips, but He delights in people who are trustworthy...Guide me in Your Truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long...All Your Words are True; all your righteous laws are eternal...The LORD is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in Truth...“You are a king, then!” said Pilate. Jesus answered, “You say that I AM a King...In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the Truth...Everyone on the side of Truth listens to Me.”...“What is truth?” retorted Pilate. With this he went out again to the Jews gathered there and said, “I find no basis for a charge against Him...To the Jews who had believed Him, Jesus said, “If you hold to My teaching, you are really My disciples...Then you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.”...And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of Truth, the gospel of your salvation...When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of His glory...Love is patient, love is kind...It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud...It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs...Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the Truth...Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of His Purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, He confirmed it with an oath...So that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us...And this is eternal life, that they know you, the Only True God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent...
