John 14:6-7
Jesus Says He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
John 17:13-19
God's Word is Truth
13 “I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them. 14 I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. 15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. 19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.
God's Word is Truth...And Jesus taught us about this Truth...Jesus spent most of His time during His ministry teaching others about God...And as He taught others about God and how He felt about God, we learned much about not only God, but Jesus Himself...We see how close He is to God...His very Teaching Nature is very, very close to God and He is One with God...
Jesus said and knew that God's Word is Truth...Then one day in His teachings Jesus said that He is Truth...Believing that Jesus is Truth, means that He did not need man's approval for His self esteem or anything else in His Character...His very nature is Truth, just as God's Word is Truth...And the Ultimate Truth is very much Together with God...Jesus needed no security of this world because He had God and is the Absolute Truth and taught and lived the Word of God...He lived the Truth...
Truth is Ultimate...Therefore, Truth is powerful...And Truth is found in the heart, and is more Spiritual than scientific in the sense that as we look for meaning and for Truth, Truth can be much more found in relationships and one's experiences with others and with the Sacred than in a book and one's experiences outside of relationships...And in Truth we find meaning...
