John 14:6-7
Jesus Says He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
Mark 14:60-62
Jesus Tells Us He is the Son of the Blessed One
60 Then the high priest stood up before them and asked Jesus, "Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?" 61 But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer.
Again the high priest asked him, "Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?"
62 "I am," said Jesus. "And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven."
Jesus was definitely an Independent Thinker...He stated what He thought was the Truth in each and every Word He said...He said He came to this world to testify to the Truth...And in all His Words, were the Words of God...His compassion for God and for others got Him in trouble...And though He said nothing wrong, His spoken word was detrimental to His own well being...He would die on the cross for what He believed was the Truth...
Author, poet, philosopher, and singer Christopher James Gilbert, a.k.a., Criss Jami wrote, “Everyone pretends to be 'free thinkers', but few individuals pass the line into expressive territories that may be detrimental to their own social well-being.”...He adds that “If Christ be a fraud, He was among the most peculiar yet brilliant of frauds in saying that only He was the way, the truth, and the life...This is the importance of grace - some people think that simply being nice and not harming others is morality; others think that following rules and tithing are morality...But without Christ, all moral beliefs ultimately boil down to the one sin which perpetually rails against the concept of grace: man's lawful, religious, and futile attempt at establishing his own righteousness.”...
Those who knew much about religion had Jesus killed did not recognize Him...They did not see Him as the Son of the Blessed One...Jesus was one of those very few Free and Independent Thinkers who continued to speak the Truth to the point that others wanted Him to be gone...So they tried to get rid of Him, but that didn't work out at all...
