Homes
Due to the fact that  Ship Breakers travel so far, and are always on the move, they have no set home.  They simply go where duty calls and where the tides take them.  They do however have a nesting ground that they return to in the sea of fins when they are ready to lay their eggs, this area is as close to a "home" as they will have.

Clothing
Due to being aquatic, Ship Breakers do not wear clothing. Instead, if at all, they will decorate themselves with bands around their tail and legs, or use tattoos or scarification to decorate their bodies.  The only time they may wear any kind of clothing is at a festival or celebration.

Life and Death
Depending on where the eggs are laid, the young are raised differently! When it's a calm weather season, the eggs are laid onshore in the warm sand, and when hatched, are raised in the coral reefs around the sea of fins. If it's a stormy season, they lay their eggs in underwater caves and raise their hatched young in thick bull kelp beds to keep them safe from the crashing waves.  The young regardless, are raised with other hatched clutches from other mothers.
At death,  family members gather and will take their dead to deep water areas and effectively sink the body of the one who passed, to keep them safe from scavengers and to return their bodies to the seas in which they live.  It said the glowing gem scales of the past ship breakers still glow softly in these deep stoney trenches.

Role on the islands
There is one main role many of the ship breakers take on, and that's guarding the island's coasts from any human ships that may get too close to discovering their hidden home. This involves sinking their large ships and killing any survivors. It may seem gruesome but it is what has kept the island calm and peaceful and safe from human influence. They are a very proud species due to this and celebrate in holding yearly celebrations of strength and skills.
