Free Markings

Free Markings

Free markings are markings not on a genos string of markings but are allowed to be added to any dragon regardless! You can use as few or as many free markings as you want, or none at all. Free markings are designed to be very small tweaks to your dragon, allowing them a bit more of a personality to their look!

Min White

Min white allows for small white markings on the tips of the dragon, or on their toes. This can include some white around the muzzle, some white eyeliner, white toes/wing tips, white on their tail tip, or a very small splash of white on the center of their chest. May also tip the ears of dragons if they have ears or the tips of fins along the face or tail such as what is present on Ship Breakers! Can mix and match which of those locations it appears.

Min Black

Min black allows for small black markings on the tips of the dragon, or on their toes. This can include some black around the muzzle, some black eyeliner, black toes/wing tips, white on their tail tip, or a very small splash of black on the center of their chest. May not be SOILD black so as the lineart cannot be seen. May also tip the ears of dragons if they have ears or the tips of fins along the face or tail such as what is present on Ship Breakers! Can mix and match which of those locations it appears.

Eye Shadow

Eye shadow allows for a simple faded darkening around the eyes. This can be black in color or a darker color of the base coat. Must be fully blended out like a shadow, and can be either around the full eye, or just on the top of the eyelid or bottom eyelid.

Mole

Mole allows for a small singular dot of color around the face. Mole may be black or darker then the color under it. Mole may not be too large or small in size.

Birth Mark

Birthmark allows for a small patch of color anywhere on the body. This mark must be irregular in shape and not too large. May not be broken up into a bunch of small marks, must be one solid marking. Birthmark must be darker than what it sits over or black.

Freckles

Freckles is just that. It allows for some minor freckling and spotting under the eye and the top of the muzzle. Make sure freckles are small, darker then what they sit over, but not TOO bold/dark.

Thin Skin

This causes your dragons skin to get a bit thin in some places, letting the flesh color show through! Please note, this should be pale and blended out ultra soft. The example image shows all areas where thin skin can show AND its max range. This free mark does not need to cover all of these areas but can if you so choose.

(NOTE: flesh is drawn in pink, and the free mark "Thin skin" is drawn in purple to show range easier! On your dragon, thin skin MUST match the flesh color)
