Rules

May be lighter or darker than what it sits over or the base coat, white or black. May also be a mix of lighter and darker if wanted (up to 4 colors, no more then one color on an individual drop). Size of droplets allowed is shown in an example image below.

Line art must always be visible under the marking.

Visual Guide and Correct Examples

Size

This example shows both the smallest a droplet should be, as well as the largest sized droplets allowed. It also shows that droplets must always have their pointed/tapered side towards the top/angled to the side slightly of the marking (as if it was dropping downward or being pushed by the wind) Think of rain drops!

Colorful

This example shows 3 shades of color, but you may have up to 4 as long as it follows the color rules.

Clustered

Droplet may be clustered to different parts of the body if you so wish, it does not need to be spread out.

Too angled

OOPS! Looks like I made a mistake in the examples for this site! This particular droplet is too steeply angled to the side. Its large rounded end is above its tapered point! This would be docked for corrections, even I make mistakes! (Northern is great at making mistakes :P )
