Homes

Sea gliders or "Gliders" live mostly underwater in communal pods, built off of coral reef systems. Rooms are carefully built to hold a few at a time, where they will cuddle and stay lying flat on the sands. If there is a bonded pair they will stay in their own rooms with their young if they have any. Because they are heavy filter feeders (of small fish) they do not really have food storage with the exception of those who are too old to catch any on their own. They LOVE to decorate with colorful bits and bobs, as well as sea plants. Because they are an ocean-dwelling species, they don't use much fabric to decorate their homes, if any except maybe to make a hanging cloth door to their room.

Clothing

There is not much to be said about clothing as again, these are an underwater species so clothing will often bog them down and get in the way. They WILL wear clothing if they attend something out of the sea such as a festival or event but it will be soft and draped across the shoulders or back.

Life and Death

Gliders give live birth much like a whale or ocean mammal. These young do not drink milk however they start out being offered fish mash wrapped into edible seaweed pouches. Babies often swarm together making "pods" of their own, flitting from parent group to parent group to be cared for (once they reach an older age of course). When it comes to death, still not much is known, though it's suspected it's very similar in ways to the Ship Breakers.

Role on the islands
Gliders are known as tenders of the sea. They help keep the warm coast coral reefs in check, making sure they are healthy and abundant. They also let other dragons know if it's safe to fish or dig for shellfish, as well as manage fishing in a way. If they know a population is growing smaller, they will let others know to let them go to help repopulate instead of fishing them to the end. They also are known to be well versed in ocean currents and can help other dragons or dragon-ships navigate if it gets too stormy.
