Rules
Marking type: Top
Sooty is a marking that resembles both a sable AND has cutouts that resemble reverse dapples (like on horses)
The base of the marking must be fully blended out and soft, but the cutouts/reverse dapples may be soft edged. It must also be black in color.
These cutouts can be round or "star" shaped, such as in the examples below.
Cutouts do not need to be across the entire marking but should be enough that it does not resemble sable instead. Cutouts should be medium to small in size, no large or no extra tiny!
Must cover the shoulders back and hips. Must be at least 25% cutouts.
Line art must always be visible under the marking.
Visual Guide and Correct Examples
"Star" cutouts
These cutout types are irregular "star" like shapes, not perfect circles or ovals.
