Design Approval Guide/Walkthrough
This step can definitely be complex or difficult to understand, so here is a step by step walk through to getting your dragons design approved and into the game!
Step 1
First, find the correct MYO/geno you have finished designing. Once you have clicked it you will see some bars to the left, there, will be a section that says "Submit MYO design". Once you are there you will see a button on the bottom right that says "Create Request", click this and you will be taken to the page that looks like this image below, that's where you will start filling out the correct sections.
Step 2
Now you are on your request page. You will see at the top a few different tabs; Comments, Masterlist Image, Add-ons and Traits. Each one of these needs to be clicked, then filled out and "saved" only then can you come back to the status tab, and hit submit request. At anytime you do not want to do this request and cancle it, you may hit the status tab and delete the request. This will NOT delete your myo/geno, it will just remove the design approval request.
First lets start on the "Comments" page, this page does NOT need anything normally, unless you are using an item that allows you to change an undesigned geno. If you are using one of these items, be sure to list it here so staff knows! Now simply hit "Save" to save it as it is. The save button is at the bottom right of the tabs page. It will mark the "comments" tab with a green circle, indicating its finished.
Lets move onto the "Masterlist Image" tab.
Step 3
Here is where you will upload your dragons design image.
Please remember to do/dont do the following:
-Do NOT resize the image,! Save/upload it as its original full sized image.
-Do NOT add any addon/items/traits ect. Your dragon must be FIRST uploaded as its basic design as stated on its Geno.
-Make sure all markings are included. Free/Lesser/Interactions are players choice to include or not as long as they follow rules.
-Make sure you use the basic starting BG for the species.
Once you upload the image, make sure the thumbnail its zoomed all the way out and only the right side is the side thats cropped.
Now, in the designer/artist area, YOURSELF should be the one listed under the designer info unless someone else designed the dragon for you. If more the one person worked on the design, you can click the small blue + mark at the right side of the designer URL to add a second person. If they are apart of the game and on the site, use their site username under "Select a designer" if they are not, use a URL to the designers Social media in the "Designer URL" section instead.
The artist section should be left blank. This section is only used when doing design updates in the future with custom drawn items/gear included.
Click save and move onto the next tab once you are done.
Step 4
The add-ons tab is where you will apply items to be used in the making of your dragon if you have any. The only items that can be used at the dragons initial design approval request are as follows.
-Basecoat Stain
-Trait Tonic
-Genetic Concoction
Select the inventory drop down, find your items, tick the check box and make sure the correct number of that item is being used (so you don't accidently use more then one!) Once done, again, hit the save button and move onto the next and final tab a the top.
Step 5
This page is the page that lists all the genetic info for your dragon! It should show its species, standard rarity at the top and under the traits list its species trait, color and markings. ((Please not some older MYO/Geno slots will not have this and will still be listed with the old geno sheet under the genos description instead. If this is the case, please add those things here by hitting "add trait" button.
You also need to add any of the following:
-Free marks
-Lesser marks
-Interactions
-Standard Semi Custom /Painted Semi Custom
Once done, hit save!
Now that you are all done with this, go back to the "Status tab" and hit the submit button.
Staff will then take a look at your request and make sure its all correct, if any corrections need to be made they will sent it back with a staff note stating what needs to be fixed on your end. Once you have fixed this issues you may resubmit the request.
Things that can have your request sent back for corrections:
-General design/marking issues
-Missing correct add-ons that have been used/listed under comments
-Missing traits
