Sections
Some markings only allow for a specific number of "sections" on the dragon to be used. Below is a guide to each dragon and the different section ranges for them. There are 7 sections total! Head, neck, front legs, back legs, body, wings, and tail.Â
Marking Types
Some markings will have a "Type" listed at the top of the rules for that marking. Any marking that does not have a type listed is considered an "independent" marking and can be layered on the dragon however you wish to layer it, meaning it can sit above or below any other markings! Just remember, all markings must be somewhat visible regardless.
Top - This marking must sit above ALL OTHER MARKINGS. If there is more than one "top" marking, you may layer those top markings how you wish on the dragon. As long as they all sit on top of all other markings, it does not matter how those "top" markings are layered.
Bottom - This marking must sit below ALL OTHER MARKINGS. If there is more than one "bottom" marking, you may layer those top markings as you wish on the dragon. As long as they all sit below of all other markings, it does not matter how those "bottom" markings are layered.
