Homes
Woldren live alone in the frozen north, a smaller island in the cluster that has bitter cold and high winds. Here they live up on the mountain cliffs, living deep within the stone in warm caves. These caves are vast, well-carved, and towering. They live in large packs and each has its own little smaller cave where they sleep, rest, and have privacy. Because wood is a rare commodity so far up, it's prized to help support the stone caves as well as decorate with intricate carvings. They also paint murals on the walls commonly, telling stories of the past.
Clothing
Woldren don't really wear clothing as their fur is thick and keeps them warm enough. But they do like armor and armor-like clothing. It keeps their hides protected when digging, and safe from harm. They are also the species that most commonly use bones in clothing. This species farm and keep Mountain Craig Rams and uses their wool to make warm blankets.
Life and Death
Life is a pack thing. When they give live birth, the mothers will be on their own but soon after will move their whelps to a communal whelp cave with other mothers where they are all taken care of by one another. It's not uncommon to see one mother feeding the babies of another. This is the only species that produce milk for their young!
When a woldren dies, they will often use what little wood they have, and burn the remains on the mountainside. With the cold not allowing the dead to return to nature, fire is the next best thing. Elders and adults attend these pires, while whelps stay within the home cave.
Role on the islands
Because Woldren are so secluded from the rest of the main lands, they do not play a big role among the dragons. They are hard workers and will sell or trade wool from their rams for supplies they need. This wool is the warmest wool farmed on the island and makes very warm winter clothing when spun correctly.
