1. Keep your eye on the ball
   1. serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear
2. Stick to a band of brothers
3. Resist the temptation to withdraw.
4. Show hospitality
   1. showing love to strangers
   2. go into the world and be at risk with it.
   3. Engage the enemy in the trenches
      1. The poor, Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also
5. Keep your self fit for battle
6. Accept the rigors of wartime
7. Operate with great respect for the chain of command
