Gen 34
Mark Driscol on Jacob, shechcum and sons.
Our world is filled with these three kind of guys. Cowards, perverts, and thugs. And it is always women who suffer. The nobility in the boys, the justice, the courage. Had Jacob as a good father not beat that out of them! You boys need to be quiet and passive. You need to be effeminate. You need to let it go. You need to be like your old man. Had he not done that and created sons that were weak. But had he taken that good part of their desire and channel it and said “You know what boys? Your right. It was evil, it was wrong and it was sin. We need to do something, you boys are angry though. Don't let your anger lead you into sin. I'm your father, you believe me. I got a plan. You do what I tell ya. You use your strength, and your courage, and your dignity and your justice. We're going to avenge her honor. We're going to protect our women. Not on our watch. But I need you boys not to let your anger get you into violence and sin. So otherwise you will end up to be a bunch of murders and thieves.
