Samuel Johnson once said “If you are idle, then don't be alone. If you are alone then don't be idle”
An old adage is “idle hands is the devils workshop”
Ps 32 & 51 where David was sorry and repented of this sin.
William Corbertson, a pastor said “Lord, please deliver me from the consequences of my forgiven sin.”
We should combine forgiveness with consequences and discipline like God did with David.
