Zeph 3:17

17 The Lord your God is in your midst,

a mighty one who will save;

he will rejoice over you with gladness;

he will quiet you by his love;

he will exult over you with loud singing.

On comparing grace with other attributes of God. (Totaling your Harley, a wreck)

• Justice is getting what you deserve
  • you owe me a new Harkey
• Mercy is not getting what you deserve
  • Ah, ist OK. I really didn”t want it that much, I forgive you you don't have to replace it.
• Grace is getting what you don’t deserve
  • I would take you out to dinner, I would take you to the dealership and buy you a brand new Harley.

[Been wondering about Paul's thorn in the flesh, Maybe it was a real thorn in his flesh. Has anyone suggested that maybe he really had a thorn in him. Perhaps in his back to cause him not able to sleep well. The thorn coming from his beatings, maybe with thorns in the clubs. This thorn being so deeply embedded it could not be operated on.
