We were in a long building with a lot of rooms. The building was on a hill. When I looked out the window the vegetation was good. There was a fence below separating a school and us. A colonel was telling a group of us how he was planning to protect us. He looked like the colonel on the TV show "Seven Days". He went down to the school to do something. He was there for a while when suddenly several helicopters came from the north and fired rockets into the school, destroying it.
Some of us went down to the school to see if the colonel was all right. He told us he was ok and there was a big discussion on how we should proceed.
Next I remember all of us being herded into the long building and being separated into groups and into the different rooms. Asian soldiers carrying assault riffles were going to question us. One soldier told me to go to a certain room and I did. While he was filtering out the others I decided to try and escaped while the fear of death for disobedience lurked. I ran out the room and went down the hallway. I went into one room and another with some people in it… I couldn’t find an escape route. While running to and fro I tried to find the original room I was ordered to go to and I couldn’t find it. I went to other rooms and saw soldiers herding people into the rooms, but I could not find my room.
Next scene, we were all in a bus being transported somewhere no one knew. I looked out the windows and saw lush vegetation, some houses on hills, a cave, and some roads. I saw a helicopter pass to my right searching for Americans. I was trying to figure out where we were going and realized we were heading south. I was sitting in the aisle and turn to the guy on my right and said, “We are going south”. Then I yelled to all on the bus “we are going south!” I wanted to know if any one else could figure out where we were going. I heard some one in the seat behind me say, “We are going towards the boarder. If that is the direction we are going then that means they built a special place to hold us”. As I looked back to see who said this I saw two reporters behind him. They found it cumbersome holding a black looking doctors bag, which held their equipment. I heard each of them reporting into a recorder updating what was going on and receiving news reports from the wire on their pagers.
We arrived at a camp. Ahead was a fenced entrance. We were ordered to move in that direction and to leave everything out side the gate. Between the front of the bus and gate I saw a picnic table on the passenger side with peoples stuff on it. The reporter’s bags were there. A lot of commotion with us while we were walking to the gate. Then I saw one of the reporters walking back toward the bus signaling other people that were leaving the camp and that were there before us. He had both hands raised with index finger swinging them down toward the case he left on the picnic table. He was doing this while the rest of us were walking toward the gate. He wanted anyone to grab his bag so hopefully the news would get out to the rest of the world.
Walking though the gate I looked all around. From every side of the encampment was a high hill. Probable ten to fifteen stories high. Each hill was covered with low-lying green grass. It almost looked like this place was a hole in a mountain, fenced in of course. All around were benches to sit on, like bleachers. I saw most of the people go to the right. I headed toward the left and sat down. At the other end a woman sat down. I soon realized I sat down behind a screen for projection and that this was a place for orientation.
An Asian general then appeared holding a wooden pointer stick. He proceeded to explain something like where we were and what was going to happen. I remember the screen was a new technology in that it was interactive. While the projection was up he could press different places with his hand on the screen and the presentation would change.
I woke up.
