A checklist lives in Airtable, where we track all of our people. Each person will have fields for various onboarding items, which should be checked off as they complete those steps.

On the left panel, choose Payroll and then "pay contractors"
Choose button "add new contractor" and enter their info.
be sure to check that you want Gusto to file the new hire report for you.
Gusto will send them an email to enter their banking info, etc. If for some reason you need to, you can ask the contractor their address and banking info to enter it yourself.

Go to host gator

Click “email accounts”

Set a temp password and note it in your email to the team member
Next to the new email, click the little person symbol, which will take you to a new window
At the bottom of that page, click "Configure Mail Client"
At the bottom of the page, enter the PERSONAL email address of the team member
Make a copy of this document and fill in the 1st page, then save into the person's HR folder (create a folder for that person if there isn't already one).

Sign into Quickbooks:
When you add them as a contributor on payroll, it will auto send them an email to fill out their info
Should include banking and personal info, but often it doesn’t fill in their banking info
So, sometimes have to call people to get banking info to enter in….may want to make that part of the process bc it happens so often, but could also contact Quickbooks and ask about a fix
