In 2023, News Revenue Hub added the ability for donors to manage their credit card info for monthly recurring donations here:

If you're unsure of whether you're going to do it right, simply email support@fundjournalism.org and they are happy to take care of it to make sure it's done right. However, it's also pretty easy to do yourself if you know what you're doing. Most instructions on the NRH Knowledge Base site, but last time I checked they weren't right on there, but the below instructions ARE correct. Here they are:
Canceling, stopping or closing the recurring donations is done by changing the Status field from “Active” to “Closed.”
Make sure you’re on the recurring donations record, and not another related record. If it doesn’t look like this, you haven’t found the right thing yet. The fastest way to find a donor’s recurring donation is to find their contact using the global search bar, and then clicking the related tab to find their recurring donation.
To close the recurring donation, which will prevent the donor from being charged again, change that status from active to closed, and click save.

Hi [donor name],
No problem at all. Your recurring donation has been canceled.
Thank you so much for your donations to and support of Matter thus far! It has meant a lot and we appreciate it. We are always open to any feedback about why you canceled your donation, if you have any to share.
Have a wonderful rest of your week!

Changing this will update future transactions, but won’t affect transactions that have already happened. To do that, change the amount field and click save.
If you need to make other changes, send email to support@fundjournalism.org.

Hi [donor name],
Wow, thank you so much for your continued and increasing support of our independent news nonprofit!
I have updated your donation amount and that should be reflected during your next monthly auto-debit.Â
Your support means a whole lot to our tiny team and helps keep the news free for all regardless of income.
Have a wonderful rest of your week!

Hello there,
I'm sorry if you somehow got signed up on our email list and didn't want to be on it. Would you like me to remove you? Alternatively, you can click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of that email you recieved from us.Â
In case you are interested in being subscribed, I'll let you know that we are an independent news nonprofit that covers Columbus issues, arts, and culture. Most of the year, we send just 1 weekly email to our audience with all the stories we published that week. We are sending about 2 emails per week during our big annual fundraising campaign which runs November and a bit into December.
Thank you and have a great day!
