A blog about the local news industry
Examples of what we want to call out in the local news industry - both good and bad
For example, there was an article in both the Dispatch and Columbus Underground and they were reporting on the exact same study, but they stated completely opposite conclusions/claims of what the study said. We might call out how that shows bias or lack of proper editing in the local news.
BTS / explainers of GMM/Matter content
For example, Jae might explain how tricky campaign finance data is and much data scrubbing she had to do just to perform her investigation into local developers contributing to city officials.

The UnBreaking News Blog is a publication on Medium under the Grey Matter Media account.
It is under GMM, rather than Matter, because it is about the larger news industry and serves as marketing for the overall GMM brand, because we are making the case that the news industry needs evolving and that publications like ours are doing that.
Generally, contributors post the story under their name/account, but to the UnBreaking News Blog publication.
Right now, our goal is to publish about once every other month.
