*A "Narthex" is defined by the dictionary as "an antechamber, porch, or distinct area at the western entrance of some early Christian churches, separated off by a railing and used by catechumens, penitents, etc." In this context, we are using the word "Narthex" as a title for the Vice President and Managing Editor, two titles that are held jointly by a single person. It is used since the Vice President/Managing Editor is the person right below, or outside, if you will, of the President/Editor in Chief in terms of hierarchy. This word was first used in a newsroom setting by the Harvard Lampoon.**Iconoplast, which means someone who makes images.***Denotes a "featured writer," someone who writes a regular named column i.e. "Sebastian's Corner"Note: Writers are listed by length of tenure.
