The Chikoo Slice is delivered fresh to the factory, each load is quality assurance sampled and assessed for foreign material and physical defects. The vegetables are then washed, blanched, inspected and frozen to -18°C or below. The process ensures that the natural flavor & aroma of the vegetable is retained in the final product.
During packing, the Chikoo Slice is inspected before weighing and filling into poly-lined packaging’s. These packages are Best Before and Production date coded, check weighed, metal detected, palletized and stretch-wrapped before being dispatched to the clients, at -18°C.
Remove the required amount of Chikoo Slice from the pouch and keep it at room temperature until defrosted or place under running water for a few minutes. For ideal results use while the Chikoo Slice is still frozen.
