This course is a continuation of Spanish I, and it will advance previously learned concepts and ideas as well as introduce new ones. In Spanish II, the following topics will be covered: places and events, asking for directions, sports, health and body parts, daily routines, vacation/traveling, and technology. Spanish II continues to explore perspectives, customs, and traditions of the people from Spanish-speaking countries. Students will continue to explore art, music, food, holidays, social customs, and idiomatic expressions. Students will also read at least one novel in Spanish II. To ensure maximum proficiency is gained, students must have a willingness to actively participate each day.
