Course Description

This course is meant for the student wanting to enhance and further their knowledge base throughout the areas of Career & Technical Education.  Production Manufacturing will include skills in the following areas:  Plasma Table Design & Operation, CAD, Plumbing, Electrical Wiring, CNC Design and Operation and Concrete & Masonry.  The class will be split between the Industrial Technology Classroom, Business Lab, as well as the Shop.  Course will be split into sections and will rotate from classroom to classroom throughout the semester.  Field trips and guest speakers will be a part of the curriculum.


            Entrepreneurship can be a lifelong goal or career path and this course can be utilized to enhance a student’s skills in this area.  Students will learn the principles of the laser engraver, plasma table, and cnc machine.  This will include machine safety, project design, manufacturing a product, and finish product.  Upon completion of the course students will have the knowledge and skills necessary to manufacture a marketable product. Safety and attention to detail will be emphasized.
