This is a one-year multimedia application course for students who want to learn how to edit digital graphics and photos, edit and create digital movies, and design web pages. The students will start the year using Photoshop touch. The students will first get acquainted with the program and the basic setup. The students will then learn how to use: the auto adjustment features, manual color and alignment, paint and fill tools, retouching tools, selection tools, layers, and apply filters and effects. Will use online tutorials.
The students will then move on to video editing and creating digital movies using Adobe Premiere Elements. The students will learn how to: work with clips, work with transitions, work with audio, explore essential editing techniques, explore advanced editing techniques, work with titles, superimpose clips, animate clips, work with video effects, work with virtual clips, and different export options. Will use online tutorials.
The students then wrap up the year with 1000 points worth of projects. They must write a proposal detailing what skills they will be using for each project.
