Mathematics 7 is a course reserved for seventh grade students. This is an introductory class that familiarizes students with basic math as well as algebra. Throughout this course you will learn about topics including, but not limited to: introduction to algebra and functions, integers, linear equations and functions, fractions, decimals, percents, fraction application, ratios, proportions, percent application, data analysis, probability, geometric concepts, and measurement concepts. In this class we will explore the use of a scientific calculator. A calculator is not required nor will it be used every day. If there are questions about which calculator to use, please contact the instructor for some suggestions.
