This course consists of basic fundamentals of mechanical drawing.  In mechanical drawing the student will learn how the men who design buildings and machinery use lines and figures instead of words.  Areas to be covered are: Lettering, use of drawing instruments, geometric construction, three view orthographic, working drawings, and occupational information.  Students will be required to do a certain number of drawing projects set up by the instructor. At this level of technology drawing, there will be an introduction to the basic computer aided drafting (CAD).  Drawings will be completed to reflect skills learned.
