Finally, there is some surprising news.
野田正明是一位活躍於亞洲和歐洲的紐約當代藝術家。他不斷挑戰自我,透過作品探索新的領域,從版畫到繪畫,再到如今的立體藝術。
Masaaki Noda is a contemporary artist based in New York who is active in Asia and Europe. He continues to challenge himself to explore new territories through his work, from printmaking to painting and now three-dimensional art.
1949年出生於廣島縣芦名郡新市町戶手町(現為福山市新市町),就讀於戶手商業高校(現為廣島縣立戶手高校)。高中二年級時,他以考入美術大學為目標加入了美術部,並在廣島的美術研究所學習。 1968年,他進入大阪藝術大學美術係就讀。畢業後,他隨即移居美國,至今仍在那裡生活。(更多資訊請參閱戶手高中網站。)
Born in 1949 in Tode, Shinichi-cho, Ashina-gun, Hiroshima Prefecture (now Shinichi-cho, Fukuyama City), he went on to Tode Commercial High School (now Hiroshima Prefectural Tode High School). In his second year of high school, he joined the art club with the aim of taking the entrance exam for an art university, and also attended an art research institute in Hiroshima. In 1968, he went on to study at the Department of Fine Arts at Osaka University of Arts. Immediately after graduation, he moved to the United States, where he has been ever since.
