for this project we had to do very similar to the same tings that we had to do with the scratchboard using the transfer technique but i was really only one of a few that did it that way for this. we still had to find or create a reference image to go off of then once we had our image we had to create our clay base shape by just cutting of the edges of of our clay shape, we then let it sit out to dry over the weekend and the when we came back we put undercoating and put it in the kiln. after that we just took it out and started carving.

i think the hardest thing about this project was that whenever you mad a line too fast or pressed too hard a piece that you didn't want to break off would and it would mess up the art. i don't like this piece at all because of this reason, that's why the wing looks messed up and it has no eyes, i almost feel ashamed to say that this is mine because i know that i could have done a lot better than what i did but its done now and i cant change it, all i can say is that i am going to learn from my mistakes and move on
