Throughout this class I have been able to experiment and try new things. the reason why I chose to take this class or just another art class in general was because I like to believe that I am artistic and that I am ok are pretty good at art, art is something that I like and its something that I would like to continue to do later and in the future. Something that I have been successful with was the duck stamp, even though it's still not done i'm really proud with how it came out and that it actually looks good. I also like my sustained investigation because I was doing glass fusing which is something that peaked my interest because I had done a glass class previously. I think that my creativity and design skills have improved and that I will continue to do art in the rest of my highschool career
Something that I struggled with was the circle/ dot project. I tried doing embroidery and it ended up taking a lot, and I mean a lot more time do do than I thought it would. I haven't completed it yet to this day and I don't think I plan on it. It was something that I thought I liked but now that I think about it I don't think I did really enjoy it. Something that I also struggled with was my time management skills. I don't think I have actually completed a single project this whole year in the time that I have been given to actually complete it and that has been this way forever whether its for art or not.
My goals moving forward would be to get working o n my art faster, trying to stay a little but ahead of the game am start making a sketching notebook so that if I come up with something I may be able to use that insted top wasting two in class work days deciding on what i'm going to do. Also I love having art class to be like my vent for stuff that I don't really have the freetime to talk about but I am definitely somewhat of an over talker so I should probably work on that because I have had a lot of instances where im waiting a whole day talking or I say something and the someone tells my sister.
