Extended blind contour drawing

we had to make a blind drawing of our hand, our self portrait, and the person next to us. you weren't supposed to lift your pen and you could overlap them but you didn't have to. I was one of the ones who overlapped them and i thought that it looked somewhat like a funky skeleton so I colored the parts of his skull that were sticking out and shaded them in to show more depth.

I used different hardnesses of graphite pencils.

when i finished the drawing i had no clue what i was going to turn it into because it looked so crammed from all of the different drawings ontop of eachother, but when i flipped it around i saw this and i am very proud of it and i did not expect it to come out looking like this. it was hard trying to figure out how i wanted to put the shadow to make the skull outer shell lift off the face but i did it, and i like it.
