Assemblage

for this project we had to create an idea board of what we could create for a sculpture. i chose to do a whale and use sea glass for an extra medium. first i crumpled up some paper into tight balls and then i taped them all together to create the basic inside shape of the whale then i just taped in some filler paper to create the full shape. after that i wrapped it in teal duck tape and puzzle pieces together some seaglass and covered the head to the spinal cord to the top part of the tail.

i think that this was kind of hard at first but after i got the basic structure and got the inside base smooth it was easier after that, i think why i used seaglass was for the representation of the sea and just because i think it looks pretty on a sculpture it was very fun but hard to try to. piece together the seaglass a i glued them on but i got it to stand on its own and it ended up looking very good
