for this project we have to create something based off of an idea. we were given a large google doc with a whole bunch of different things that we could chose to draw from, i chose to draw a car that only drives up stairs but i felt like that would kinda look weird so instead of drawing a car going up litteral stairs i drew a car going figuratively up stairs as i had labels the plane the car was driving on as "up stairs" as in the dimension that you would talk about in your own two story house. 

i used a multitude of colored pencils and the graphite pencil spectrum i bought from Joann's craft store in topsham and i use an 8" by 12" drawing paper. i chose to use colored pencils because over the summer i thought it would be fun to experiment with shading with colored pencils and i created a rose that i literally sat down and looked at a rose for a couple of hours to complete and i thought that it looked splendid, so i felt more confident in using this medium, also last year when i was using the 2h graphite pencil because i thought that was the lightest i could go, when i went to the store to get some of my own i got an even lighter pencil the 6h graphite and i and now declaring it my favorite. 

definitely as i was drawing i had some complications when i was using black because a little bit of black is too much but if i don't use enough it wont blend well or give me what i want. i think if i could change something i would definitely change the fact that i didn't complete it but like not right away but it looks good and i feel ok about it, i definitely would say it worse piece but that its somewhere in the middle.
