Artist statement

For this project, we needed to research an artist or art movement and create a slideshow. I chose orphism because I thought it was very simple, but still nice to look at. It would also fit in the background of my self-portrait without overpowering the drawing. I like how the background art isn't too overpowering, but I don't really like the colors I chose. It was challenging to find an art movement I liked that I could also recreate.
