Map Design 

This project was meant to show some sort of map that held importance to us. I chose to make a map connecting my house to my friend's. I chose to make a light path symbolizing that while you cannot always see it, we are always connected. The lightning bugs are the marks on the map. I used gouache and watercolor. I began by sketching the hands, using reference photos I took of my friend's hands. I then used watercolor to paint them. I then created the light trails with gouache. I then used pen and gouache to make the bugs. Finally, I used black as my background to make my main figures stand out and emphasize them.
