Tidal Shift is a competition meant to spark conversation about climate change. I focused on pollution in my piece. The cellphone is taking a picture of than landscape, however, inside the screen is an image destroyed by climate change. The message of this piece is that we still have time to change the outcome. However, we must act soon before irreversible damage is done. I used watercolor throughout my entire piece. I used reds, purples, and darker colors to demonstrate climate change inside the phone, and bright blues to light up the main landscape.
